Lette has raised USD $6.5 million in seed funding in a round led by Peak.
The London-based proptech company will use the money to expand its UK operation. Its customers include JLL and large financial institutions. Other investors in the round include Heliad, Foreword VC, Pitchdrive and Adeline, alongside angel backing from Intercom Co-Founder Des Traynor.
Lette sells software for residential rental operators. Its artificial intelligence agents manage leasing and resident services from first enquiry to signed lease and ongoing support after move-in. The company says it works across more than 30,000 units and handles more than 60% of resident support and maintenance requests automatically.
According to Lette, its system has cut the time needed to lease a home from two weeks to under four days. One build-to-rent operator has added more than 1,000 homes without increasing headcount.
Market pressure
The fundraising comes as rental operators face changing conditions in England following the Renters' Rights Act. Since 1 May, Lette says, most private renters can leave with two months' notice at any time, increasing pressure on landlords and operators to retain tenants and reduce void periods.
The company argues this has made resident service and leasing speed more important to occupancy and income. Many operators, it says, still rely on inboxes, spreadsheets and disconnected systems even as portfolios continue to grow.
Its software is designed to work alongside existing property management systems used by operators in build-to-rent, private rented, student and single-family housing. Lette says it integrates with systems including Yardi and MRI, and writes updates back into them.
"Institutional operators in the UK and Ireland have never had a platform built around how their teams lease homes and look after residents. Lette takes a home from first enquiry to signed lease and stays with the resident after move-in, working alongside the systems operators already have. We're using this funding to go deeper for UK operators. Now that residents can leave at two months' notice, every day a home sits empty is lost rent, and that is what we help operators win back," said Mohan Sai, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lette.
Hiring push
Lette has opened a London office and grown its team sixfold over the past year. Its UK hires include Mitch Hammond, formerly of OnTheMarket, and Abhiram Mishra, formerly of QX Global.
The new funding will support further recruitment across product, engineering and customer operations. The company also plans to expand into additional European markets in 2027.
Jakub Rajek, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Lette, said: "Housing is a human industry. Letting agents and property managers come into this job to look after people, yet their days are still spent chasing leads, copying details between systems and updating spreadsheets. We started Lette to automate that repetitive work and give teams their time back, so they can pick up the phone when it matters and be there when a resident really needs them."
JLL is among the named users of the system. John Coddington, Head of Residential for Property Management at JLL, said the software had helped the property group manage costs and resident interactions.
He said: "Margins in residential are under pressure, and our clients expect us to run their buildings as efficiently as possible. Working with Lette helps us do that. It streamlines the journey from first enquiry to signed lease, gives us a real-time view of how each building is performing, and ensures the main focus is on residents."
Peak said the investment reflected its view that software tailored to the full resident lifecycle could become central to residential property operations in Europe.
Dijkman said: "We see a clear opportunity to build the AI-native operating system for residential property in Europe, and we believe Lette is leading the way. Mohan and Jakub bring deep technical expertise and sharp commercial judgement, and have moved quickly to earn the trust of major operators in the UK and Ireland. By building around the full resident lifecycle, they are creating a platform that is becoming central to how those businesses operate, with the operational data and customer relationships to build a lasting advantage. That is what convinced us to invest, and we're excited to help the team realise that ambition."
